The Role
We’re looking for fast, creative, and highly skilled video editors who specialize in short-form, vertical video (TikTok, Reels, Shorts). If you’re a savvy editor who understands viral cuts, quick pacing, and how to make any topic engaging, we want you on board.
This role is perfect for someone who can:
- Turn around content quickly (fast edits, same-day/next-day turnarounds).
- Make scroll-stopping videos with strong hooks and tight storytelling.
- Edit high-energy, engaging short clips—Popfly products, team highlights, founder content, creator community, customer interviews, and content for third-party brands.
- Enhance videos with captions, motion graphics, effects, and music to maximize retention.
- Work independently with minimal oversight while nailing the creative vision.
What You'll Work On
- Editing 5-10 short-form videos per month.
- Transforming raw footage into high-impact, shareable content.
- Repurposing long-form content into bite-sized, high-engagement clips.
- Experimenting with new styles, trends, and edits to keep content fresh.
What We're Looking For
- Expert in short-form video editing (TikTok, Reels, Shorts).
- Fast turnaround times—speed is key.
- Strong sense of timing, pacing, and storytelling for digital audiences.
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects, or similar tools.
- A solid portfolio of engaging, viral-style video edits.
